Veneers/Smile Makeover
The ultimate way to transform your smile!
Veneers are very thin "peels" which stick to the surface of the teeth and correct the various imperfections (fractures, discoloration, abnormalities in the dental arch, such as gapped teeth, overcrowding and distortion, general aesthetic problems etc..)
Porcelain veneers, thanks to their material offer shiny smile and a lasting result, most of the time require minimal preparation (grinding of the underlying teeth).
Our goal is not for others to see your new smile and ask you "Did you have your teeth fixed?" but to create a perfect, natural smile for you and then no one can understand what has changed on you!
Smile design:
There is nothing more beautiful than a bright "diamond" smile…
At Diamond Smile we specialize in the aesthetic restoration of teeth and provide you a par and excellent result of high standards.
The most important point of changing our smile is its design.
This is most often needed on porcelain veneers or aesthetic bridges where there is cooperation with the dental laboratory.
The whole image of the face is taken into account. The gums and lips are the framework that enhances the aesthetics of the teeth. Just as different frames frame the paintings, the design is done individually for each smile. The same teeth do not suit everyone, just as each of us has different characteristics, teeth are different in each of us.
A successful new smile requires a successful design. Feel free to give us as much information as you want about what you want and how you imagine your teeth. Photos of desired smiles can also help make the smile we create meet or even exceed your expectations.
A smile is very important in human communication, as it is the means of expressing feelings of joy, trust, love and with the right dental treatment can be your valuable weapon. A smile is one of the first things we notice in someone's appearance. So let's highlight it!
All our procedures are painless.
Professional teeth whitening systems
Teeth Whitening
Naturally brighten your smile without causing any damage to your tooth enamel.
We have all the methods of teeth whitening, so that we can safely achieve the best possible result every time....
What is teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening involves bleaching your teeth to make them lighter. It can't make your teeth brilliant white, but it can lighten the existing colour by several shades.
What happens during teeth whitening?
If you have your teeth whitened you'll first need to make 2 to 3 visits to the dental surgery.
The dentist will take an impression of your teeth to make a mouthguard and tell you how to use it with a bleaching gel. Then, using your mouthguard at home, you regularly apply the gel for a specified period of time over a few weeks. Some whitening gels can be left on for up to 8 hours at a time, which can shorten the treatment period.
Laser whitening, also known as power whitening, is another type of teeth whitening system that a dentist can provide. A bleaching product is painted onto your teeth and then a light or laser is shone on them to activate the whitening. Laser whitening takes about an hour.

Endodontic Treatments
Tooth denervation, or endodontic treatment (root canal treatment), is a procedure required to remove nerves, blood vessels, germs and toxins out of the tooth. The purpose of denervation is to thoroughly clean the root of the tooth and then to fill the gap that has been created, so that there is no risk of inflammation and infection again.
When is denervation done?
Denervation is recommended when inflammation has been caused in the pulp, inside the tooth. At this point inside the root of the tooth, there are nerves and blood vessels, while when the germs move inside the tooth, they create inflammation. This inflammation, if not treated in time, can spread around the tooth and trigger swelling and pain.
Caries is usually responsible for causing inflammation in the pulp. Another possible cause is when a tooth breaks and the damage is located near the pulp or when it is injured and leads to necrosis of the pulp. Denervation also applies in cases where there is a tooth abscess and swelling/edema.
In the case of wisdom teeth, denervation usually does not apply, except in cases where it must necessarily be maintained such as when needed as sole support.
Emergency cases

Fillings/Direct Restorations
What is a tooth filling ?
To treat a cavity your dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material once lived.
Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting or tooth grinding).
What steps are involved in filling a tooth?
First, the dentist will numb the area around the tooth with a local anesthetic.
After your dentist has removed the decay and cleaned the area, the tooth-colored material is applied in layers. Next, a special light that "cures" or hardens each layer is applied. When the multilayering process is completed, your dentist will shape the composite material to the desired result, trim off any excess material and polish the final restoration.
How should I care for my teeth with fillings?
To maintain your fillings, you should follow good oral hygiene practices -- visiting your dentist regularly for cleanings, brushing with a fluoride-containing toothpaste, and flossing at least once daily.
Prosthetic Restorations
(crowns and bridges)
What a crown is?
A Crown is used by dentists to protect, strengthen and repair teeth. It is a form of indirect restorstion which surronds the tooth throughout the height from the top of the tooth to the gum line, covering the entire chewing and lateral surface.
Dental crowns are made to resemble the shape and colour of the natural tooth, restoring its aesthetic and function, preventing a possible fracture during chewing.
What a bridge is?
Tooth bridge is a very common method, used to replace one or more missing teeth.
It is a form of immovable prosthetic restoration because it is permanently attached to the mouth and the result is that it restores the function and maintains unchanged the aesthetics of the smile and face.
The main feature of a bridge is that it rests on at least two adjacent natural teeth which must first be ground. It is firmly attached to them with adhesive mortar(glue), while the gap is covered with an additional, artificial tooth.
ORAL CANCER SCREENING - CHECK FOR PRE-CANCER INJURIES / ORAL CANCER:
Oral cancer is one of the 10 most common cancers and affects even young people under the age of 30.
When a dentist regularly examines the patients, he/she must examine the entire oral cavity at the same time. If he recognizes pre-cancerous lesions or suspicious lesions that do not resolve within a reasonable time, he should urge his patient to have surgical removal and histological examination of the lesion.
Oral cancer is a relatively common form of cancer, which is responsible for 200,000 deaths worldwide each year. Most patients are over 55, but cases among younger people (under 40) have increased in recent years. The majority (about two thirds) of the patients are men, however the percentage of women is gradually increasing.
Smoking in particular and alcohol consumption are the most important predisposing factors. More recently, HPV viruses have been implicated, which are also known to be the leading cause of cervical cancer. Especially in the case of lower lip cancer, chronic exposure to sunlight is mainly responsible.
Oral cancer can develop anywhere in the mouth, but is more common on the tongue, in the floor of the mouth and on the lower lip. In many cases, oral cancer develops into pre-existing precancerous lesions. These lesions usually appear as white (leukoplakia) and red (erythroplakia) areas of the oral mucosa or as lesions of the lip (radial cheilitis). Early detection and proper treatment of these precancerous cancers is crucial for the prevention of oral cancer.
The clinical picture of oral cancer varies. Usually there are ulcers ("wounds") that do not heal and swellings (swellings, pimples, tumors in the mouth) with an abnormal or ulcerated surface. In the early stages of development, oral cancer does not cause pain or other symptoms. As a result, patients are often unaware of the problem. Gradually pain, bleeding, dysphagia, limited mobility of the tongue or jaws, and swelling of the cervical lymph nodes may occur. If left untreated, the tumor metastasizes to other organs in the body.
The earlier oral cancer is diagnosed and treated, the better the chances are of a cure. Therefore, oral examination of all individuals at regular intervals and immediate examination is essential.
PREVENTIVE COVERAGE OF HOLES AND SLOTS -SEALANTS:
The chewing surfaces of the teeth are not smooth. On the contrary, they have holes and slits, which are often the source of a pool of germs. Once the germs are trapped in the grooves of the teeth, they are difficult to remove when brushing, because the bristles of the toothbrush are not so thin as it needs to reach these points. As a result, the germs remain in the deepest parts of the chewing surface of the teeth and spoils the tooth. This is how tooth decay begins slowly.
By preventively covering the holes and crevices, the dentist "fills" the grooves of the teeth and then do their chewing surface smoothest. Germs can now hardly be trapped in the holes of the teeth and therefore tooth decay is prevented.
Neither anesthesia nor grinding of the tooth, is required to prevent cavities and fissures. The dentist cleans the chewing surface of the tooth and then places the composite resin, covering the grooves and slits of the tooth. The placement of the sealants is completed in one session/appointment.
FLUORIDE TREATMENT:
Fluoride increases the strength of tooth enamel, making it more resistant to dissolution from the acids produced by the microbes. In other words, it reduces the possibility of new caries and therefore the possibility of needing a filling again in the future.
In addition to the protective effect, local fluorination can be used therapeutically in the very early stages of caries to repair the damage caused by enamel. A prerequisite is that, no hole has yet been made in the enamel, but only a local loss of minerals that is usually visible as a whiter spot on the enamel.
Peadiatric Dentistry
From the first years of life we offer therapeutic solutions for every member of the family.
Young parents often ask:
"When should my child first visit the dentist?"
The instructions given by the American and European Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics state that the first visit should be made after the appearance of the first tooth and no later than the age of two.
"Why should it be done at such a young age"
Because with the correct and timely guidance the adoption of positive habits for oral health can prevent caries and the serious effects it can cause on a child's life.
"What impact does it have on the child's life?"
Caries causes pain, difficulty chewing with adverse effects on the child's physical development, speech difficulties with an impact on communication with those around him and often there are effects on the child's psychosynthesis, due to the aesthetic problems he faces. Caries in children's teeth can also affect permanent teeth. If left untreated, it can lead to the spread of infection and be life threatening.
"At what age can caries appear?"
It can occur at any age, even at the age of 12 months, with the latest international data reporting an increase of dental decay in preschool age (at least 1 in 4 children have decayed teeth), while in our country 1 in 2 five-year-olds have caries.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery:
An oral surgeon is a dentist who, after receiving his basic degree in dentistry, specializes in the pathology and surgery of the oral cavity, and the study of surgical techniques and pathology of diseases that are treated with surgery within the anatomical boundaries of the oral cavity. These include, but are not limited to, surgical extraction of wisdom teeth as well as the placement of osseointegrated implants as well as performing reconstructive techniques where necessary.
Our clinic offers all oral surgery techniques.
PERIODONTOLOGY :
Is the field of dentistry that involves the periodontium.
We have 2 types of diseases:
Gingivitis: is the inflammation of gingival tissues
Periodontitis: is the inflammation of periodontium including periodontal ligaments and alveolar bone
Gingivitis can be by plaque induce gingivitis or non-plaque induce gingivitis e.g. by genetics, systemic conditions, traumatic lesions, foreign body reactions.
The main cause of gingivitis is by plaque. If you have good oral hygiene and you do your recommended appointments for scaling every 6months we will reduce the plaque and the chances of gingivitis.
It’s important to treat and cure the gingivitis on time in order to prevent the progression into periodontitis.
In case of negligent of good oral hygiene patient, it may cause periodontal diseases and it will lead to tooth loss. periodontium will be loosened from the teeth because of the inflammation and will cause mobility of the teeth. During the time that movement will become more and more till it will reach the level of full lost of tooth support and eventually, the tooth lost.
High-risk patients are:
Patients with family historical periodontal diseases (genetic factors)
Pregnant women
Smokers
Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus type 2.
During clinical examination and a panoramic x-ray, we will be able to identify in our clinic the presence or not of a periodontal disease.
